Villa

A Mafia family's Tuscan estate, packed with art and Assassin's Creed nods.

Villa is a map in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege that arrived with the Operation Para Bellum expansion. It is set in Tuscany, Italy, on the estate of the Vinciguerras, a Mafia crime family.

The mansion is large and open, with big rooms and many ways to move both across and between floors. That lets both sides rotate quickly, but it also leaves defenders a lot of space to cover, so holding a site on Villa is harder than on most maps.

Background

Attackers can spawn at the Main Entrance, the Fountain or the Ruins. Bomb sites sit in the Aviator and Games rooms and the Trophy and Statuary rooms upstairs, and in the Living Room and Library and the Dining Room and Kitchen downstairs. The map has six hatches.

The house is decorated with classical art, including copies of works by Caravaggio and Fuseli's The Nightmare, and with signs that the family was packing up to flee a raid. Several easter eggs point at Assassin's Creed, from a haystack that plays an eagle cry to the Assassins' insignia on the fountain, and a marble block in the Art Studio breaks open into a statue of Tachanka.
