Manapart was founded in 2018 in St. Petersburg by Artem Popov (vocals), Arman Babaian (lead guitar), and Zakhariy Zurabian (drums). The three had previously played together in a cover band called Wishup band, which focused on System of a Down covers and gave three concerts in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
