In-Quest formed in the early 1990s, evolving from an earlier project called System Shit (originally Color Of Noise in 1987). The band's lineup changed frequently, with vocalists including NG 'Noise Grinder' Ben Adams, Dimitri Janssens, Sven de Caluwé (2002–2004), and finally Swedish singer Mike Löfberg from Blockhead (2004–2014).
