Kalijuge! was formed in 1995 in Žilina, Slovakia. The band's name derives from Kali Yuga, the fourth and last age in Hindu mythology, intended to mean 'modern times.' They worked on a full album during summer 2008, with a release expected in early 2009. Their first video clip was released in October 2008.
