Below, the enemy's ground units were advancing in a slow, grinding line, their treads chewing up the asphalt. The Pteranodon banked hard, its long beak slicing through the smoke, and for a moment it was just a dark shape against the dying sun.

Then it dove.

The wind roared past the Zord's wings as it folded them tight, turning its entire body into a prehistoric missile. It struck the lead enemy unit with a force that sent sparks and debris spiraling into the street, then pulled up on a wingtip, scattering the rest of the column like leaves. The Blue Ranger felt the G-force in her teeth and grinned behind the visor.
