Weighted Storage Cube

Weighted Storage Cubes are the standard puzzle objects of the Portal games. In Portal, Chell can pick them up to climb or to hold down the large buttons that activate doors and other mechanisms, and the heart-marked Weighted Companion Cube is a variant of them. Portal 2 redesigned the cube and added new types: Redirection Cubes with prismatic lenses that bend laser beams, spherical Edgeless Safety Cubes, an antique version used in the underground levels, and a cube-turret hybrid built by Wheatley after he takes over Aperture.
