Gameplay
Players click to move the Pink Panther through scenes, interacting with people and objects to solve puzzles and move the story forward. Found items go into a pouch in his fur, viewable by clicking on him. The Book of Knowledge offers facts about each country's people, languages, clothing, arts, history, nature, and food. A talking black hole named Spot, taken from the warlock Strangeblood's lab, helps Pink travel. The game has five original songs about local animals.
Plot
After the events of The Pink Panther: Passport to Peril, the Pink Panther works as a traveling salesman. His quiet life is interrupted when Nathan Periowinkle Jr., son of a wealthy lunatic dentist, steals utensils from the warlock Strangeblood. Nathan accidentally transforms Violet, a young guest at the Periowinkles' dinner party, into a giant anthropomorphic wombat with bat-like features. Pink agrees to find Strangeblood's book of spell reversals before Nathan's parents discover the incident. Violet wishes to become an immortal magical ninja princess mermaid. Pink steals the magic book and escapes via Spot, then gathers ingredients for a potion: a mammoth's laugh, Dead Sea fungus, and an improvised black belt. Strangeblood helps drain the Dead Sea so an ostrich can rejoin its flock. Violet drinks the potion, transforms, but falls asleep after eating a poisoned apple. Pink seeks a rhinoceros hornbill feather and a Maasai tribal leader's chant. Strangeblood magically reattaches a shark's fins. When the second potion fails, Pink adds a Greek salad, causing Violet to become possessed by Echidna. In Ancient Greece, Pink rescues Athena from Zeus's head, tricks two gorgons into turning to stone, and answers questions about Greek myth to convince Poseidon to travel to the mansion. Strangeblood exorcises Echidna, restoring Violet's original form, and Poseidon departs with Echidna.
