Kerianne Flynn is a former human resources executive, film producer, socialite, and space tourist. After graduating from North Adams College, she worked in HR for fashion and beauty brands including French Connection, bebe, and divisions of The Limited such as Limited Design and Victoria's Secret Beauty. She has contributed to several film projects, receiving producing credits on The Automatic Hate (2015), This Changes Everything (2018), and Lilly (2024). On April 14, 2025, she flew into space as part of the all-female crew of Blue Origin's NS-31 sub-orbital mission, alongside Katy Perry, Amanda Nguyen, Aisha Bowe, Gayle King, and Lauren Sánchez.
Background
Flynn's path to space began in 2011, when she signed up to fly as a passenger on a Virgin Galactic spaceflight—though that flight has not yet occurred. Instead, on February 27, 2025, Blue Origin announced she would join an all-female crew for a suborbital flight.
The mission, NS-31, launched from Launch Site One in West Texas on April 14, 2025. Flynn lives in a penthouse in the Tribeca neighborhood of New York City with her husband, Jim Flynn, and their son. Beyond film and space, she serves on multiple boards: RxArt (2008–present), the Art Advisory Board for the Coalition for the Homeless (2011–present), the Women’s Leadership Committee for The Children’s Health Fund (2015–present), the Playground Committee for Friends of Hudson River Park (2015–present), and the Board of Directors of City Winery (2009–present).
