MetLife Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, 5 mi west of New York City. Opened in 2010, it replaced Giants Stadium and serves as the home for the New York Giants and New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). At an approximate cost of $1.6 billion, it was the most expensive stadium built in the U.S. at the time of its completion. It is the largest stadium in New Jersey and the New York metro area with a capacity of over 82,000, and is the largest venue in the NFL.

MetLife Stadium is one of two stadiums shared by two NFL teams; the other is SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. Additionally, MetLife Stadium is the fifth building in the New York metropolitan area to be home to multiple teams from the same sports league, after the Polo Grounds, the third Madison Square Garden, Shea Stadium, and Giants Stadium. The stadium's design uses a column/tower dynamic inspired by Manhattan's skyscrapers, with a limestone-like stone base and an outer skin of aluminum louvers and glass. Interior lighting can switch colors—blue for the Giants and green for the Jets—an idea originating from the Allianz Arena in Munich. The solar ring on the upper rim consists of 1,350 BIPV solar panels generating about 350 KW, nearly 25 times the amount of electricity needed to power the LED display system; excess power goes to general stadium use or back to the grid.

MetLife Stadium has a capacity of 82,500, including 10,005 club seats and approximately 218 luxury suites. It features four 30 ft by 116 ft HD video displays (upgraded in 2025 with 8MM high-resolution LED boards) and a stadium-wide audio system with over 1,000 new speakers. The field uses the FieldTurf Core System, a multilayer dual-polymer monofilament fiber surface installed in 2023. The stadium has four locker rooms: one each for the Giants and Jets, plus two for visiting teams. Renovations to enlarge the playing field for the 2026 FIFA World Cup were completed in two phases (Phase I in May 2024, Phase II in May 2025), involving demolition of four corners of the precast concrete seating bowl and replacement with a modular steel composite seating system, adding 1,740 permanent seats.
