Chris Paul, nicknamed "CP3" and "the Point God," is an American former professional basketball player regarded as one of the greatest point guards of all time. He was selected as the fourth overall pick in the 2005 NBA draft by the New Orleans Hornets, where he played from 2005 to 2011. He never returned to play for the franchise after leaving in 2011.

Paul led the NBA in assists five times and steals a record six times. He won the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, an NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player Award, and two Olympic gold medals. He was selected to 12 NBA All-Star teams, 11 All-NBA teams, and nine NBA All-Defensive teams. In 2021, he was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team.
