GW190425
A gravitational wave event with unusually high mass.
GW190425 is a gravitational wave signal detected on 25 April 2019 by LIGO-Livingston, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 12.9. Its 90% confidence sky region covers roughly 20% of the sky, and no electromagnetic counterpart has been conclusively associated with it. The event's total mass and chirp mass are higher than any known binary neutron-star system, leading to multiple hypotheses about its origin.
