History
The Sydney Portugal Community Club was founded on 6 February 1965, a few years after the formation of the Football Club in 1961. Portuguese migrants created the “Clube Português de Sydney” in Paddington, in the heart of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. There, a small number of Portuguese immigrants began planning the club’s future, which later became known as Rosebery. The club moved to Fraser Park in the early 1990s, a ground previously used by the Railway Institute.
