Kelsier's uprising against the Lord Ruler.
The skaa rebellion in Mistborn: The Final Empire is Kelsier's plot to overthrow the Lord Ruler. Kelsier, a half-skaa Mistborn who escaped the Pits of Hathsin, and his crew recruit the street urchin Vin and plan to take Luthadel by setting off a house war among the nobility and then invading with a skaa army.

The skaa
Under the Lord Ruler, society is split into the nobility, believed to descend from his friends and allies, and the brutally oppressed skaa, descended from those who opposed him.
Outcome
Kelsier is killed by the Lord Ruler himself in Luthadel's city square, but his real plan was to become a martyred symbol of hope for the city's skaa. The skaa react to his death by rising up and overthrowing the city with the help of Kelsier's army. Kelsier's brother Marsh was turned into a Steel Inquisitor during the rebellion.
