Harmony
The new god of Scadrial, born from the Catacendre.
Harmony is a god on Scadrial, formed from the fusion of two Shards of Adonalsium: Preservation and Ruin. The imbalance and relationship between these powers have shaped Scadrial into a borderline inhospitable place. By Era Two, set 300 years after the Catacendre, Harmony is a new god who has replaced the previous divine forces. He created the lush grassland of the Elendel Basin, which replaced the former territory of the Final Empire.

Lore & Background
Harmony's existence begins with the shattering of Adonalsium, whose power split into sixteen Shards. Two of these landed on Scadrial: Preservation and Ruin. By Era Two, set 300 years after the apocalyptic interaction of divine power known as the Catacendre, Harmony has emerged as a new god. The Catacendre wildly adjusted the climate of the planet and resulted in Harmony. He created the Elendel Basin, a lush grassland, to replace the former territory of the Final Empire. Harmony's influence is felt across the world, including the distant south pole, where the Malwish—an enigmatic advanced society that always wear masks—were able to interact with the north only after the improved climate and technology made it possible.
Reader's Guide
Harmony is the divine entity that governs Scadrial following the Catacendre, the apocalyptic interaction of divine power that reshaped the planet. Formed from the fusion of two Shards of Adonalsium—Preservation and Ruin—he represents the delicate equilibrium required for life to continue on the world. His role in later eras is subtle but omnipresent. He does not rule directly like his predecessor, the Lord Ruler, but instead guides events from the shadows. His powers encompass all aspects of Allomancy and Feruchemy, allowing him to manipulate metals and energy with godlike precision. Defining moments include his creation of the Elendel Basin and his subsequent appearances in the industrial age as a mysterious advisor.
