FCI Tallinn, or FC Infonet Tallinn, was a football club from the Lasnamäe district of Estonia's capital. It was established in 2002 and played in the top-tier Meistriliiga between 2013 and 2017, securing the championship in 2016. Following a 2017 merger with Levadia, the club’s main and first reserve sides were dissolved, and its name was taken over by the second reserve team, which competed in the fourth-tier II Liiga.
History
The club was founded in 2002. Before the 2011 season, it merged with Esiliiga club FC Atletik. Infonet finished second in the 2011 Esiliiga but lost the promotion play-offs 1–5 on aggregate to Kuressaare. The club won the 2012 Esiliiga and earned promotion to the Meistriliiga, finishing sixth in its debut top-flight season.
On 13 July 2015, Infonet defeated amateur side Virtsu 36–0 in the Estonian Cup, equalling Arbroath's 130-year-old record for the largest margin of victory. Infonet made its European debut in the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League, losing 3–6 on aggregate to Heart of Midlothian in the first qualifying round. The club won its first Meistriliiga title in 2016 with 80 points. After the 2017 season, a merger with Levadia was announced, and the club was automatically relegated to the II liiga.
