Development
In 1995, Conde Entertainment Software published Regnum, a real-time strategy game. Andrés Chilkowski led the project alongside a friend, who handled design and script writing. Their goal was to make a game like Dune II.
Reception
Strana Igr described the game as surprisingly good for a low-budget MMORPG. Massively commented that if the beginning levels were fun, it could be a great game. Softpedia summarized that Champions of Regnum contains many free-to-play MMO cliches but is not awful, though better alternatives exist. In 2012, the game was noted as very popular in Latin America and Germany, and has been called the biggest MMORPG made in Latin America.
