Lore & Background
In Angels Online, players begin as Little Angels at the Angel Lyceum, a college where they train to become Angel Protectors tasked with guarding Eden against Lucifer. After completing a tutorial, players are teleported to the Lyceum campus, where they earn student credits by completing lessons—either defeating a set number of monsters or collecting or manufacturing a specific amount of an item. These credits determine whether a student can graduate or attend Top Student Training. Upon graduation, the player becomes an Angel Protector and chooses a faction and city.
Reader's Guide
The game features 14 classes divided into Fighting, Magic, or Production systems. Each player can have up to six skills at once, with skills maxing at level 380. A unique double-class and skill system allows players to change or match skills after choosing a class, enabling distinctive character builds. For instance, a fighting-class character can learn magic skills, though some special skills like chaos and earth cannot be combined. Skills level up through use but cannot exceed the character's level, which also caps at 380. Players can change skills after reaching level 20, but require a special item called a skill crystal. This flexibility made Angels Online notable for its customizable character progression within a free-to-play framework.
