Negative Zone
A parallel universe of negatively charged matter, first seen in Fantastic Four.
The Negative Zone is a universe parallel to Earth's that appears most often in Fantastic Four. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, it first appeared in Fantastic Four #51 (1966); all matter in it is negatively charged, and it has been read as antimatter.

Reader's Guide
Because the Zone is largely uninhabited, several would-be conquerors have tried to cross to Earth; its best-known residents are Blastaar and Annihilus. In the Civil War storyline Tony Stark and his allies use it for a prison for superheroes who refuse to register.
