Or you're just another body in the river.' The phone rang—a shrill, jarring sound. Leo picked it up, listened for a long moment, his expression unreadable as stone, then hung up without a word. 'Go home. Tomorrow, we talk about the docks.' Vito nodded and left, the weight of the old man's words settling in his chest like lead, the scent of cigar smoke clinging to his coat.
