Cardinals–Rams rivalry

Background
Both started in the old NFL Western division and neither had a winning season until 1944; the Rams won the 1945 title and the Cardinals the 1947 one, still their last. Meetings became regular again with divisional play, and both are now in the NFC West, their stadiums about 375 miles apart along Interstate 10. The Rams lead the series 53-41-2 and have won both playoff meetings.
