Dike played college soccer for the University of Virginia and was selected in the first round (5th overall) of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft by Orlando City after already having signed a Generation Adidas contract. He also won the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup with the United States national team.

In Their Own Story

The stadium hummed with the low, electric buzz of a late-season MLS match. Dike stood at the edge of the box, hands on his hips, watching the ball circulate through the midfield. The starter had just gone down with a cramp, and the gaffer's eyes found him. He jogged onto the pitch, felt the grass cool under his studs, and immediately dropped into the channel. Two minutes later, a cross swung in from the left. He didn't even need to jump—just timed the run, let the ball meet his chest, and tapped it past the keeper. The bench erupted. He pointed to the corner flag where the Toronto FC flag still hung in his memory, then turned and sprinted back into the press. No celebration. Just the next shift, the next run, the next chance to be the body in the box when it mattered.

Reader's Guide

Dike began his professional career with Orlando City in 2020, was loaned to Barnsley in 2021, then transferred to West Bromwich Albion in 2022. After multiple injuries, he returned to Orlando City in July 2026.
