Background
It turned from the band's pop-influenced 1980s glam metal to a heavier sound and reached the Top 20 in several countries, but did not bring Kiss back into the mainstream and was certified gold on July 20, 1992. It is dedicated to Carr, and its closing track, 'Carr Jam 1981', is a demo he recorded soon after joining in 1980.
The Revenge Tour that followed was Eric Singer's first with the band.
