Lore & Background
Originating from a distant star system, the Galactic Knights were formed to counter threats that no single planet could withstand alone. Their history is shrouded in mystery, but legends speak of ancient battles against void entities and rogue dimensions. They wield unique weaponry and armor infused with stellar energy, allowing them to traverse space without conventional ships. The order's most famous member, Meta Knight, often bridges the gap between the Knights and Kirby, acting as a mentor and occasional rival. While their methods can seem aloof or cryptic to outsiders, their actions consistently demonstrate a deep commitment to preserving life throughout the galaxy. They monitor cosmic anomalies and intervene only when the balance of reality is at risk.
Reader's Guide
The Galactic Knights are led by a council of high-ranking officers who oversee operations across multiple sectors. Their primary goal is to neutralize existential threats before they can spread, often acting preemptively against emerging dangers. Key members include Meta Knight, who serves as both a field commander and a liaison to Planet Popstar. Other notable figures have appeared in various missions, each possessing unique abilities tailored for cosmic warfare. The group's history involves numerous conflicts with dark entities, including the Void Termina and other interdimensional horrors. While they rarely conflict directly with Kirby, their paths often cross when universal stakes are involved. In some instances, they view Kirby as an unpredictable variable; in others, they recognize his unique power as a necessary ally against overwhelming odds.
