Pillar Men

The Pillar Men are powerful ancient humanoids who were discovered by German researchers in 1938. Awakening and escaping, they seek the Red Stone of Aja, which, when used with the Stone Mask, can transform them into the ultimate life form—though they are already superbeings without it. The Stone Mask itself was created by ancient humans, not the Pillar Men. They are a primary threat in Battle Tendency, forcing Joseph Joestar to master Hamon to defeat them.
