Jotaro Kujo

The stoic high school student who commands Star Platinum to save his mother.

Jotaro Kujo is the protagonist of the third part of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Stardust Crusaders, and the grandson of Joseph Joestar. He is a high school student living in Tokyo in 1989. When his mother, Holly Kujo, falls ill because her own Stand is slowly killing her, Jotaro, along with Joseph and their allies, sets out to defeat Dio Brando (now referred to as simply "DIO") before Holly's Stand takes her life. Jotaro's Stand, Star Platinum, awakens in him as a result of Dio having taken over Jonathan Joestar's body.

In 1989, Jotaro Kujo is a high school student in Tokyo. Because Dio Brando had taken over Jonathan Joestar's body, Stands awaken in Jonathan's descendants, including Jotaro. His mother, Holly Kujo, is unable to control her own Stand, which begins to slowly kill her. To save her, Jotaro joins his grandfather Joseph Joestar and their allies on a journey to defeat Dio before Holly's Stand takes her life. Along the way, they fight off Dio's henchmen. Jotaro's Stand, Star Platinum, is a psycho-spiritual manifestation of his fighting spirit with unique supernatural abilities. His character arc is defined by his mission to protect his family, specifically his mother, from the threat posed by Dio.
