Venice appears in two parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. In Battle Tendency (Part 2) the mysterious Hamon master Lisa Lisa lives there, and Joseph and Caesar train in Hamon under her on Air Suplena Island off the coast of Venice. In Golden Wind (Part 5) it is where Passione's boss orders his daughter Trish Una to be brought.

On Air Suplena Island, Esidisi raids Lisa Lisa's island and is challenged by Joseph, who destroys his body and takes his antidote. In Golden Wind, Bucciarati's team uses Coco Jumbo to reach Venice and escorts Trish to the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore; when Bucciarati realises the boss means to kill his own daughter to keep his identity secret, he turns on him and barely escapes with Trish. Members of the Hitman Team attack the group on the way to Venice, on the highway outside it, and as they try to escape the city.
