Characters
Kōjirō Shindō is a highly skilled negotiator for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He became the only person involuntarily induced with a sense of the anisotropic after being the first to exit the Kado before it fully processed human information. He resigned his position to become the anisotropic's negotiator, treating Yaha-kui zaShunina as a normal human and initially accepting the devices, but was later convinced otherwise by Saraka.
Yaha-kui zaShunina is a being from a separate spacetime called the anisotropic, aiming to accelerate human evolution. He chose Japan due to its strong sense of superiority and introduced four devices: Kado, Wam, Sansa, and Nanomis-hein. Though not initially threatening, he later reveals a forceful nature.
Saraka Tsukai is the International Negotiator for the Ministry acting for the Japanese government delegation. She disapproves of Yaha-kui's devices, which she believes impact humanity's dignity, and urges Kōjirō to reassess Yaha-kui's purpose. She is later revealed to be an anisotropic being and the administrator of humanity's universe.
Shun Hanamori is Kōjirō's co-worker who became the Japanese government's negotiator to the anisotropic after Kōjirō declined the role. Other characters include the Prime Minister of Japan; Assistant Secretary for National Public Safety Commission, a university classmate of Kōjirō; a Cabinet Secretariat of National Security Agency information team member who loves Shūhei but steps back; a genius researcher who can create her own Wam due to her childlike mind; and a reporter from NNK recruited by SETTEN CEO Adam Ward after his video gained billions of views.
