Plot

Aoi, a normal school boy, is cursed by the wizard Makaeru from the Land of Frogs. The curse makes Aoi transform into a frog whenever he gets wet, and he changes back when dry. Makaeru sends Aoi to the Land of Frogs, where he meets Mimori, Makaeru's sister. Aoi learns that his quest is to find the missing pages of the Book of Magic, hoping they contain a cure.

Characters

Princess Mimori is the cheerful 14-year-old princess of the frog clan. She has feelings for Aoi but does not realize them. Aoi is a 14-year-old boy from the real world who turns into a frog when wet due to a curse from Mimori's brother Makaeru; he also has feelings for Mimori. Suu is a 14-year-old princess of the snake clan who is jealous of Mimori. The Land of Frogs and the Land of Snakes were at war; Mimori's parents were absorbed into a tunnel during battle, leaving Makaeru and Mimori to rule. Suu, whose parents were also absorbed, becomes interested in Aoi and later falls in love with a sailor whose true identity is a woman.
