Marko often displayed more strategic patience, whereas Magda was more impulsive and violent. This friction occasionally compromised their operations. The revelation of their Viltrumite heritage complicated Invincible's relationship with them; they were technically kin to Omni-Man, yet enemies of Earth. Magda was eliminated in a brutal display of power meant to teach Mark a lesson about mortality, while Marko survived to eventually confront his heritage during the larger Viltrumite War.
