Sendrayan and his wife enter the forest to find the treasure due to financial problems, but an elephant kills Sendrayan. Meanwhile, Hema visits a writer to discuss his unpublished book about Nandhi Varman's journey to Nagamalai. According to the writer, only Chandramouli and Nandhi Varman escaped from Nagamalai, while no one else returned alive. Nandhi Varman's team, including Kishore, Ramya, Catherine, and Ram, enters the forest with a guide, who reveals that only a pregnant woman ever escaped.
