House of the Dragon Codexery

House Stark

The young Lord of Winterfell commands the North while dragons clash in the south.

In the events leading up to the Dance of the Dragons, House Stark remains a distant but significant force in the Seven Kingdoms. In season 2 Tom Taylor portrays Cregan Stark, the young Lord of Winterfell and head of House Stark. He holds the title of Warden of the North, commanding the loyalty of his region while the Targaryen dynasty fractures into the Black and Green factions. Unlike other great houses that are deeply entangled in the succession war or dragon claims, the Starks maintain a presence defined by their northern seat and leadership rather than direct involvement in the royal court's immediate plots.
