Alibi, a 1931 British mystery detective film, is now considered lost. Directed by Leslie S. Hiscott, it starred Austin Trevor, Franklin Dyall, and Elizabeth Allan. H. Fowler Mear wrote the adaptation, basing it on Michael Morton’s 1928 play, which itself came from Agatha Christie’s 1926 novel The Murder of Roger Ackroyd.
