The Beastmen

The Beastmen are humanoid creatures that serve as the army of the Spiral King, Lordgenome, and pilot his mechas. They are a constant threat to the few humans who escape to the surface, and Yoko of Littner is introduced as a member of a small resistance against them. Kamina founds Team Gurren, later renamed Team Dai-Gurren, and leads it to combat Lordgenome and the Beastmen.
