Hockaday Museum

Art museum preserving Glacier National Park and Montana history.

In Kalispell, Montana, the Hockaday Museum of Art works to preserve artwork and history tied to Glacier National Park and the state. It first opened as the Hockaday Center on February 10, 1969, and was named for commercial artist Hugh Hockaday. The museum now operates from the Carnegie Library Building, constructed in 1904 thanks to Andrew Carnegie’s funding and situated near downtown Kalispell’s Main Street.
