Ecto-Plasm

Ecto-plasm is the fundamental substance of the supernatural realm within the Ghostbusters universe, serving as both the life force of spirits and a hazardous byproduct of their existence in our dimension. It manifests visually as a glowing, viscous fluid or mist that leaks from spectral entities when they are damaged, captured, or simply present in high concentrations.
