Background
Shortly after being sliced with a machete by Ginny Field, a badly injured, unmasked Jason goes to a lakefront store for a change of clothes and murders the owners, Harold and Edna. Chris Higgins and her friends, pregnant Debbie and her boyfriend Andy, prankster Shelly and his blind date Vera, and stoners Chuck and Chili, travel to Higgins Haven, her old home on Crystal Lake, where her boyfriend Rick meets them. On the way a man named Abel warns them to turn back, and at a convenience store Shelly and Vera clash with the bikers Ali, Fox and Loco. Jason takes a hockey mask from a victim to hide his face and sets about killing the group.
