Tairn and Sgaeyl

Tairn is mated to Sgaeyl, Xaden Riorson's dragon. Because of that, Violet can speak with Sgaeyl, and she and Xaden can talk to each other telepathically through their dragons. Tairn's feelings for Sgaeyl also pull on the feelings of their riders. In Iron Flame, with Xaden stationed at the Samara outpost, the dragons' bond lets the two riders see each other every week.
