Medicine at Midnight
The 2021 album with a dance-rock edge, Taylor Hawkins' last with the band.
Medicine at Midnight is the tenth studio album by Foo Fighters, released on February 5, 2021, through Roswell and RCA Records after the COVID-19 pandemic pushed it out of 2020. Produced by Greg Kurstin with the band, it adds dance-rock and pop elements to their usual sound, and it is the last Foo Fighters album with drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died the following year.

Background
The band had announced a break in October 2018 after touring Concrete and Gold, but Grohl was already demoing new songs by August 2019 and the group began recording together that October. Five singles followed: "Shame Shame", "No Son of Mine", "Waiting on a War", "Making a Fire" and "Love Dies Young". The album was well reviewed and won three Grammy Awards: Best Rock Album, Best Rock Song for "Waiting on a War" and Best Rock Performance for "Making a Fire".
