Gou
The brother who became a werewolf to seal a villain.
Gou Fukami is Retsu's overprotective older brother and a former student of Jūken alongside Rio and Miki Masaki. Initially lacking passion for justice, he fought only for himself, which led to him mastering a dangerous form of Geki known as Shigeki (Violet Fierce Qi). After their parents died, Gou forced Retsu to stop practicing Jūken before leaving to confront Rio using an imperfect forbidden technique. This act transformed him into a feral werewolf who wandered the world for fifteen years until he regained his human form and reluctantly joined the Gekirangers as Geki Violet.

Lore & Background
Gou Fukami's journey began alongside Rio and Miki Masaki under Grand Master Sha Fu. Dissatisfied with fighting solely for himself, he developed the dangerous Shigeki and reinvented Geki Jū Wolf-Ken into his personal Fukami Style. Following their parents' death, Gou forced Retsu to abandon martial arts before departing to fight Rio using a forbidden Geki Waza intended to seal him. The technique backfired imperfectly, turning Gou into a feral werewolf who roamed the earth for fifteen years. He eventually regained his human form and joined the team as Geki Violet, embodying the "Iron Will" aspect of Geki Jūken. Unlike the primary members, he utilizes the Gong Changer bracelet because his Shigeki is incompatible with standard Geki Changers.
Reader's Guide
To understand Gou Fukami, one must recognize his evolution from a selfish fighter to a selfless protector through tragedy. He mastered the Geki Jū Wolf-Ken style into his own Fukami Style and developed Shigeki (Violet Fierce Qi) after losing his family. His transformation into a werewolf for fifteen years serves as the central turning point of his character arc, separating him from the standard Gekirangers who use Geki Changers. Instead, he uses the Gong Changer bracelet to transform, reflecting his unique energy source. As Geki Violet, he embodies "Iron Will," representing the aspect of strength that persists despite personal sacrifice and long-term suffering.
