The trauma led them to blame Tony Stark. As young adults, they volunteered for Hydra's enhancement program, where the Mind Stone amplified Wanda's magic and gave her psychic abilities. In 2015, Wanda allied with Ultron to seek revenge against Stark, but defected to the Avengers after learning Ultron's plan for human extinction. During the battle in Sokovia, Pietro was killed.
