Lore & Background
He survives the attack on Chaldea at the start of Cosmos in the Lostbelt. In Traum he is revealed as the first apostle of the Foreign God, sent to watch Chaldea during the crisis against Goetia with his own memories deliberately sealed. Learning the truth, he duels Moriarty at Reichenbach Falls and lets himself be killed so he will never become Chaldea's enemy, smiling as he falls. In the final chapter Ritsuka uses a Command Spell to summon him again in front of Maris CHALDEAS, where he exposes the flaws in her system.
