Lore & Background
Fou met Merlin on the Isle of Avalon and lived with him, the two constantly arguing, until Merlin let it go out and see the wonders of the world; Chaldea later found it, and it grew fond of Mash and Ritsuka. After the game's last chapter Fou reveals itself as one of the seven Beasts and revives Mash by transplanting its Force of Providence into her soul. The act strips it of its knowledge and leaves it closer to an ordinary animal, and it stays with Mash and Ritsuka.
