The guild is characterized by its sophisticated aesthetic, often dressing in fashionable attire that reflects their water theme. This rivalry highlights their competitive nature against Fairy Tail's more chaotic approach to magic and camaraderie.

Reader's Guide

Mermaid Heel operates as a high-tier Magic Guild focused on maintaining their reputation as an elite force within the Fiore kingdom. Their primary goals involve securing victory in major competitions like the Grand Magic Games to prove superiority over other guilds, particularly Fairy Tail. During the X791 tournament, they were instrumental in challenging the protagonists through psychological warfare and magical duels. Their affiliation with water magic allows them to control moisture in the environment, making them dangerous opponents in various terrains. While not a dark guild, their methods can be ruthless when protecting their honor or interests. They serve as antagonists during specific arcs but remain part of the legal magical community structure. Their presence emphasizes that not all rivals are evil, yet ambition can drive them to cross ethical lines for victory and prestige.
