Europa Universalis Codexery

Europa Universalis (2000)

The first game in the series.

Europa Universalis is a grand strategy game developed by Paradox Development Studio and published in 2000 by Strategy First. It is based on Philippe Thibaut's 1993 French board game of the same name, and a new engine, the Europa Engine, was built for it. The game covers 300 years from 1492 to 1792, letting the player lead one of seven European nations (others in different scenarios) and expand through war, diplomacy and colonial wealth.
