Stans (film)

Stans is a 2025 American documentary that examines rapper Eminem's career from the perspective of his most devoted fans. It debuted at the SXSW London Screen Festival on June 2, 2025. In the United States, the film played for a limited engagement at AMC Theatres from August 7 to August 10. Internationally, Trafalgar Releasing will distribute it to over 1,600 theaters. A companion soundtrack, *Stans (The Official Soundtrack)*, includes songs that influenced the film along with previously unreleased material. Eminem, Paul Rosenberg, Ed Sheeran, Adam Sandler, Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine, LL Cool J, Alex Kresovich, Devon Sawa as Stan, and Jason Clay as The Real Slim Shady. After its limited theatrical run beginning August 7, 2025, *Stans* arrived on the Paramount+ streaming service on August 26, 2025. On Rotten Tomatoes, 90% of 21 critics' reviews are positive. Adam Graham of *The Detroit News* gave the film a B, noting, "Stans isn't the be-all, end-all telling of Eminem's tale, but it puts his stamp on it for now, using the lens of his fans to give it perspective." Released on August 26, 2025, the soundtrack includes "Everybody's Looking at Me," originally a freestyle Eminem performed with rapper Proof on the Funkmaster Flex radio show. For the album, two new verses from Eminem were added, and Proof's verse was removed. The track also appeared in the background of "The Kiss (Skit)" from Eminem's 2002 album *The Eminem Show*. "Walk On Water (Original Version)" is exclusive to the vinyl release.
