Lucy
The diclonius heroine of Elfen Lied, also known as Nyu.
Kaede, known as Lucy and as Nyu, is the diclonius girl at the centre of Elfen Lied. She escapes from a research facility off the coast of Kamakura, and an injury during the escape gives her a second, childlike personality, Nyu, in which state Kouta and Yuka take her in.
Lore & Background
Her vectors reach only about two metres, but within that range she is fast and deadly, and she throws nearby objects to kill at a distance. She hates humans mainly because her human peers abused her as a child; after bullies beat to death a puppy she had been caring for, she killed them. She dismisses non-diclonii as not real people.
