Ed Edd n Eddy Codexery

Ed

The strongest and least sharp of the Eds, voiced by Matt Hill.

Ed has no chin, a prominent unibrow, and amazing physical strength.[1] Ed, voiced by Matt Hill, has yellow skin, very short hair, and is described as strong, airheaded, and considerate.[1]

Making and release

Creator Danny Antonucci said Ed was inspired by himself, describing Ed as "slow, living in his own world"[2] Antonucci found it hard to decide who would voice Ed, and Matt Hill was ultimately cast.[2] He speaks in non sequiturs almost all the time.[1] He has poor personal hygiene and is terrified of soap.[3]

Ed likes the smell of stink bombs and sweaty boots.[3] In the series' TV movie finale, the Eds become friends with all the cul-de-sac children.[3] Ed's mind is filled with references from comics and monster movies, causing him to frequently mix them up with real life.[1]
