Lawan Identity Reveal

The mysterious woman who saves Aiden from Waltz turns out to be one of his test subjects.

In Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Waltz confronts Aiden in a tunnel, shows superhuman abilities, steals the GRE key from him and kills every Peacekeeper present except Aitor. Aiden pursues him to an abandoned car factory, where a mysterious woman intervenes and incapacitates Waltz long enough for Aiden to recover the key. She reveals herself to be Lawan and explains that she seeks revenge against Waltz because she, too, was one of his test subjects.

Lore & Background

Lawan, voiced and motion-captured by Rosario Dawson, is a major character in the game. With the key she and Aiden enter the Central district, where electricity is suddenly restored by Waltz's use of the key, and later she pulls Aiden from the debris as he warns her that Waltz's experiments mean he will inevitably succumb to the infection.
