Demons
The ancient race that seeks to destroy humanity.
The demons of Devilman Crybaby are an ancient race that seeks to destroy humanity, the same threat Akira Fudo and Ryo Asuka face in Go Nagai's original manga. Ryo believes the only way to defeat them is to obtain their powers, which is why Akira unites with a demon.
Lore & Background
After fighting their way out of the Sabbath, Akira and Ryo fight several demons, among them the sadistic Jinmen, responsible for the deaths of Akira's parents, Amon's lover Sirene and her associate Kaim. Ryo later reveals on television that demons live among humans, exposing the athletes Koda and Miko.
