Miki Makimura

Lore & Background

Miki lives with her parents and younger brother Taro in a suburban home, where she often hosts Akira and his friend Ryo. She is a popular and cheerful student, but her life is shattered when her father is killed by a demon, while her mother is killed by a mob of frightened humans who mistake the family for demon sympathizers. Taro is also killed by a demon, not by the mob, and does not become a demon. Miki herself buries her mother alongside Akira; her father's burial is not shown. Miki is fully aware of Akira's transformation into Devilman and has witnessed him transform and fight demons.
